Amber Shuler runs the flower shop at 52 Everett Street. In 2019 the flowers were not
growing fast enough to carry the family, so she pulled out the drawing she had not done
since high school, watched a few videos, and started making stickers at the counter.
Orders came every few months. Then every few weeks. The sticker line crept forward from
the back of the building until it took the whole front, and Layla Blossoms got its own
sign over the door.
The border around the windows is hers too. She painted the same one across both,
the flower shop and the boutique, so the whole storefront reads as one place.
The logo is her actual signature.
